Join Farmhouse Meats and Seven Hills Pasta Co. in a fantastic intro class to sausage making! Learn how to make sausage from scratch using all local ingredients. We will discuss different types of cuts best suited to making sausage and the importance of meat quality. We will explore salt levels, the use of nitrates and different flavor combinations and make sure you leave with the knowledge necessary to start your own charcuterie project at home. Farmhouse meats will be providing fresh local cuts of heritage pork for the class.
Class includes around 1.5 hrs of hands on sausage making, refreshments and a handcrafted meal consisting of Seven Hills Pasta Co.’s bronze extruded pasta with braised sausage.
