Our chickens are grown in big open barns with a lot of ventilation and space. They never have antibiotics or hormones. Our poultry is fed a wholesome diet that is regimented, consistent, and absolutely free of any antibiotics, hormones, or meat by-products of any kind. The poultry's diet includes soy, corn and alfalfa meal.
Cooking Tips: Split chicken is perfect for roasting or grilling. Roast at 375°F for about 1 hour until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. For extra crispy skin, start with the skin side down and flip halfway through. Season generously with your favorite herbs and spices before cooking.

Simple Roasted Split Chicken Recipe: Preheat oven to 375°F. Pat chicken dry and rub with olive oil. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and fresh rosemary. Place skin-side up in a roasting pan with quartered potatoes, carrots, and onions. Roast for 1 hour or until juices run clear and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
